Welcome to my new website! Isn’t it kewl? I hate to gush so openly about something that is mine, mine, mine but as I can take absolutely no credit for it, I’m gushing anyway. The fine folks at www.austindesignworks.com* worked their tails off to give me an online home that I hope will be comfortable for both my readers and me. I needed a central and effective way to get all the latest information on my books to you, and you need a way to get the information you want in the fashion you want.

So you can now choose between RSS feeds, Facebook, Twitter, my forum *waving to the VPeeps* or my contact/comment page (which is new to me, so bear with me while I work out the kinks. I’m excited, though, because I think we’ve found a way for you to get your comments to me quickly and efficiently and for me to be able to respond in kind).

In any case, I couldn’t be happier with the results. I get twitchy when I visit websites with too much going on, but let me know if there’s a missing feature you’d like to see. The goal is to make this an interactive home base where you can feel free to pop in and out, or kick up your feet and lounge. I’m also now able to easily shoot off breaking announcements and news, as well as offer book excerpts, snippets, and giveaways, starting with the final book of the zodiac, The Neon Graveyard.

So mark it, post it, tweet it, store it – and have a look around, too. Cyber-cupcakes to the right. Champagne to the left. Oh, and I’ve dropped a couple of crumbs around the site about the new series I’m working on, too – which, of course, I’ll be talking more about in this space later.

*I really can’t say enough wonderful things about my web designer. If anyone out there is looking for a smart, friendly, efficient and affordable site/update, this is the place to go.

Righteous site for a extremely engaging writter!!! Zodiac series has taken me from zero to sixty and slammed my brain into the wall more than a couple of times. Where else to leave praise of your work than on this awesome site? Great job!! :)

Fantastic to hear! (That is, if you don’t mind walls. ;-) ) And thank you
re. the site. It’s mah shiny. Now, re. Neon Graveyard: careful of the
      hairpin turns!

I’ll admit I didn’t check in very often, but I did a few weeks (a month) ago and the site wasn’t updated yet…I’d been wondering what you were up to as I haven’t received a newsletter in a loooong time.

Also, I had NO IDEA the next book was the LAST book in the Zodiac series (or that you were working on a new series). I have to say, I’m really sad! I enjoy the ‘In Death’ series by JD Robb (how many books has she written now, lol) but I absolutely love the Zodiac series and I could read 100 more books. I can imagine you’re ready to work with some new people, but I hope Joanna and her underworld have more for us someday!

      Bekah -

You’re so right. My site was well in need of an update, but I started thinking of this transition to WordPress back in November and it’s taken this long to implement. I think we got it just so, though.

And the newsletter. Yes. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was reading that (so thank you for the confirmation!). Basically, I’ve been head down, finishing up Joanna and beginning with two new friends, Kit and Grif. (Your the first I’ve told, and only because you made such a favorable JD Robb comparison. LOL (I’m reading one of hers right now.)

So thank you for reading, Bekah – and continuing to read. I’ll get a newsletter out next week. And it’s all your fault. ;-)
