The Given - Out now!
Dearest Readers, Ta-Da! Please allow me to introduce…
Available now, this is the final installment in my para-noir Celestial Blues trilogy, and I’m thrilled it’s finally here. Publishers Weekly already gave it a starred review, but here are what some of the latest reviewers have to say:
“The Given is a vivid, lush ending to … a unique and immensely entertaining series. This is urban fantasy at its finest and a trilogy … I’ll keep returning to again and again.” — LitStack
“(Pettersson) blew me away with the Celestial Blues series!” — Talk Books to Me
“THE GIVEN is a stunning conclusion to an unusual trilogy that’ll leave you wishing that it hadn’t ended so soon. — Rabid Reads*
I have to say, it’s a fantastic welcome to the end of a trilogy that has been an honor to work on. I loved meeting Grif and Kit on the page everyday, and I hope you find the conclusion to their story as satisfying as I did writing it.
Tonight kicks of The Given tour with a signing in my quiet little hometown, Las Vegas. Here’s the location if you’re able to make it:

Barnes and Noble – 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd
*Note: I’m meeting with readers early for a little coffee klatch at 6 pm, so please note that while the singing and Q&A is scheduled for 7:00 pm, this allows me to chat with you as well. Don’t be shy!
If you can’t make the Vegas signing tonight, here are a few other dates:
JUNE 6-7, 2014 – PHOENIX, AZ
Phoenix Comic-Con – Phoenix Convention Center 100 N. 3rd Street

I hope I see some of you at one of the above events, but if not — I leave you with the words themselves. Not to mention (finally!) the answer to the longstanding question… Who killed Griffin Shaw?
Remember, I’m active on both Facebook and Twitter , so if you finish the series and love it, feel free to contact me there. (If you read it and don’t love it… keep it to yourself til next year. I’m already writing you another book!) All my best, Vicki
